Hi! I’m Mattea, and I’m an equestrian guide.
I’ve been passionate about horses since childhood, and I’m now lucky to call connecting people with these magnificent animals my full-time job.
I own and manage my equestrian association, Le Pergole, providing daily theoretical and practical training for those interested in the beautiful unions that are possible with horses.
At La Pergole all are welcome!
Whether this is your first time riding or you’ve been in the saddle for years, I can tailor your experience ranging from easy to adrenaline-filled; for individuals or groups—with safety and support always being the priority.
These experiences can include easy and relaxed rides with a tasting at local wineries; one-day rides; multi-day rides; formal lessons for those wanting to build skills; and more.
No matter what you choose, you’ll be treated to the stunning scenery of the area: spectacular vineyards, golden olive groves, and centuries-old woods furrowed by ancient paths.
We regularly ride through the Lucca countryside, San Rossore natural preserve, and Garfagnana. It’s a truly breathtaking paradise you only find here.
